Robert Priddy (a caustic critic and defamer of Sathya Sai Baba and others) made the following comments on his Anti-Sai conspiracy blog about Joe Moreno (a Pro-Sai Activist):

Robert Priddy: “Invidiously, Joe Moreno calls me ‘a blatant liar’ many times obviously without any tangible proof because I can assure that I never lie. He is fond of childish name-calling and smearing through labeling: egs. he accused me of being a “fundamentalist Christian” (I am 100% agnostic!)”

Robert Priddy’s penultimate lie is that he “never lies”! Moreno already refuted Robert Priddy’s claim that he “never lies” here. Moreno has written several “Fighting The Smears” articles (Refs: 01 - 02 - 03 - 04 - 05 - 06 - 07) refuting Robert Priddy’s bold-faced lies, including multiple sexual abuse libels against Moreno.

Robert Priddy formerly attempted to argue that a “lie” is a false statement deliberately presented as the truth. Robert Priddy contended that since he is not relating his untruths deliberately, he is not “lying”. However, when Robert Priddy’s “untruths” are brought to his attention, he deliberately refuses to correct or retract them; meaning he is not only deliberately perpetuating lies, he is a bold-faced and shameless liar.

Right after Robert Priddy boasted that he “never lies”, what did he do? He lied! Robert Priddy falsely claimed that Moreno accused him of being a “fundamentalist Christian”. Moreno never (ever) accused Robert Priddy (even indirectly) of being a “fundamentalist Christian”.

The only thing that Moreno ever wrote about “fundamentalist Christians” in relation to Robert Priddy was a radical Christian website that duplicated Priddy’s webpages in full (the webpages have since been removed from the internet, but archive.org still has the archived link with no text) to push their Anti-Baba and Anti-Hindu agendas. Moreno did not (at any time) accuse or imply that Robert Priddy was a “fundamentalist Christian”. The argument Moreno made was that there are Christian groups pushing Anti-Baba and Anti-Hindu agendas (which Priddy denied several times): See For Yourself.

Therefore, WHERE exactly is Robert Priddy getting his disinformation from? He most certainly did not get it from Moreno’s websites. Why is it that Robert Priddy tries so hard to present himself as an honest and moral individual, yet repeatedly makes unsubstantiated and unsupported comments that are never referenced to verifiable sources?

It is exactly erroneous “untruths” (i.e., “lies”) like these that give impetus to the perception that Robert Priddy may be suffering from senile dementia (which he may have inherited from his mother, who suffered from severe memory loss for many years).

Robert Priddy Is Not A Fundamentalist Christian But A True Believer In Psychics, Spiritual Healers And A Self-Proclaimed Prophet:
Let it go on record that Moreno has never (ever) claimed (nor does he believe) that Robert Priddy is a “fundamentalist Christian”.

Robert Priddy is, however, a pseudo-moralist who continually attempts to con the general public into thinking he is entirely given to scientific reasoning, when in actuality he is a true believer and a fierce defender, promoter, endorser, solicitor and friend of various self-professed psychics, trance mediums, reiki healers, guru wannabees, superstitionists, eccentric spiritualists, astrologers (including his own son, Kai Nicolai Priddy, who is heavily into astrology and is the webmaster for AbacusAstrology.co.uk) and other "lunatic fringe" Baba bashers.

Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard (the main spokespersons for the Anti-Sai Movement) promote, endorse and/or profess friendship with:

How's that for "scientific" or "rational"? Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard are obviously very gullible and naive "true believers" who are willing to give credence to non-scientific beliefs by claiming that trance mediums, self-proclaimed prophets, aura readers, seance conductors, New Age advocates, guru adherents, self-proclaimed reincarnators and the like are intelligent, honest, credible and reliable individuals worthy of being referenced by them (so-called “scholars” and “academics” not given to lunatic fringe or superstitious beliefs)! To Date: Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard adamantly refuse to say one word about their promotion and endorsement of these "lunatic fringe" (Priddy's favorite slur) individuals.

Robert Priddy Is Not A Fundamentalist Christian But Believes That Sathya Sai Baba Possesses Genuine Paranormal Powers:
And to top it all off, Robert Priddy believes (even to this day, after his defection) that Sathya Sai Baba possesses genuine paranormal powers:

Robert Priddy: “Nonetheless, it will surely surprise some that I am still almost certain - on the basis of extended personal observation - that Sathya Sai Baba can and does carry out apports, which therefore can appear as materialisations from nothing.”

Apports are said to be physical objects in existence that are dematerialized from one location and rematerialized to another.

Robert Priddy: “Some of what I experienced of SSB’s extraordinary and positive powers through many years is undeniable, even after the most rigorous skeptical investigations, and I do not regard him as any ordinary human being. I have simply had to realize that his actions in the worldly and human sphere are not infallible and are not always setting a perfect example for others.”

Robert Priddy believes that Sathya Sai Baba possesses genuine paranormal powers because the Guru cured him of a debilitating and chronic neck and spinal problem that no one else could cure and whose symptoms no doctor could alleviate. Robert Priddy claimed that Sathya Sai Baba cured him through a series of “dream-operations” that resulted in a literal and physical transformation of his spine, which was supported by x-rays and the testimony of Mr. Kylie (“an osteopath and master of various other disciplines”).

Robert Priddy also claimed that Sathya Sai Baba freed his mother from chronic pain and that a small speck of Sathya Sai Baba’s vibuthi instantaneously cured his paralyzed cat when it suffered from what appeared to be a stroke.

Robert Priddy tries to make the case that Sathya Sai Baba:

1. Is both a fraud and genuine.


2. Both can materialize objects and fakes materializations.


3. Both can cure diseases but really can’t cure diseases.

Needless to say, Barry Pittard also believes that Sathya Sai Baba has genuine paranormal powers. These are the equivocators and deeply conflicted individuals who are attempting to portray themselves as sober, rational and scientific!

Robert Priddy is not a fundamentalist Christian, but he is a liar and a fanatic equivocator with proof!
